At Emily and Josh's school they had the annual costume parade. The parents all come first thing in the morning and everyone in the school does a big parade for everyone to see their costumes. They also had parties.
It was also party time at Ryan's preschool. They did a very small scale trunk-or-treat with the parents lined up on the street then they sang a few songs for us. Siblings could enjoy the trunk-or-treat as well so Benjamin was glad for that. Then the parents left as they finished off their preschool day with a party.
Ryan wanted to be a dragon. I totally lucked out and found this (as well as Benjamin's costume) at Kid 2 Kid.

Last night we carved a pumpkin. Next year I think we'll get one of those pumpkin carving kits where you poke holes to make the pattern and carve it with the little knives so the older kids can carve their own. Emily was the only child willing to help clean out the inside of the pumpkin.
