Thursday was the kids Halloween Parade at School (there was no school on Friday.) The parade was first thing in the morning so I took Ryan and Benjamin and went to watch.
We had to sit and wait a while for it to start and Ryan and Benjamin were not happy about that, especially Ryan, he wanted out of the stroller. Once it started they had fun watching all the kids in costume go by. Benjamin kept screeching and growling at everyone, and Ryan pointed out all the scary people saying he better be careful or they would, "bite his finger."
Right after the parade there was a kindergarten Halloween program where the kindergartners sang a bunch of songs. Ryan kept wanting to know when we could go home.
Saturday night it was time for some trick-or-treating. A large, impromptu group of friends formed and the kids had fun going around with their friends. The two little ones rode in the stroller because there was a lot of walking, and it's not flat where we live.
Jonathan got some kind of spooky short movie and projected it out our front window.
The kids had fun and got plenty of candy. We have quite a bit of candy left over, good chocolate stuff so I'm eating way to much candy. Hopefully it will be gone soon.
