Weather
Saturday morning we had a little bit of snow. Nothing that stuck or anything, just some sporadic snow falls a couple of times. Then starting Saturday evening through right now we have been drenched with continuous rain and yesterday and today that has been combined with very strong winds. Not the kind of weather you want to have to go out into to go to church, or work, or the grocery store, etc. And of course the kids have no school today (teacher's grading day) so I have a house full of kids and we're stuck inside. As long as the power doesn't go out for 20 hours like last year when a big wind storm came through.

Last night our entryway and laundry room flooded. It was a minor nuisance, really, that only took a couple hours to clean up and left no real damage. Our neighbors, though, are totally flooded and will likely have to move to another apartment. So it could always be worse.
I am thankful, though, that Sophie went to school today. Being cooped up inside with one little person is bad enough.
