When I was ten years old my family moved from UT to FL. We left behind all family to venture into the swampland for a job for my dad. The first Christmas we were there it was extrememly warm, in fact we went swimming on Christmas Eve at this park by where we live that had a swimming pond. Quite the change from what Christmas was like in UT. Now granted, it is not normally that warm in central FL in the winter time. It can get pretty cold (relatively speaking) depending on the year and what "cold fronts" are coming through, but for some reason, our initation FL Christmas was swimming weather!

You are bringing back memories. Growing up in South Florida we had a tradition of going to the beach every Christmas (just because we could!).
