Joshua's 7th Birthday

I have several posts to do, but it requires me to go through a lot of pictures, so they are going to be a little out of order because I feel the need to post about Joshua's birthday. Josh's birthday was on Sunday. To celebrate we went up to Cherry Hill on Saturday. We went miniature golfing, then the kids did some rock climbing (David was particularly good at this,) batting cages and played in a giant play thing that included a ball pit. (How is that ball pits are the best thing ever invented?! You don't see them around much any more, but I remember LOVING them as a kid.) It was a very fun afternoon, and we had beautifully warm weather to boot!

Then we headed to the pet store because Josh wanted a fish for his birthday. He ended up getting a beta fish and it lives on the dresser in his room. He named his fish Razor Spencer Kland.

Sunday we had his favorite dinner, homemade macaroni and cheese, and then had cake and ice cream.

Joshua also got a new pair of shoes!

Joshua is a smart and active kid. I think first grade is probably too easy for him across the board. He is a great reader. He enjoys school though. He recently started taking piano lessons which he also loves. He likes to play with friends and spends lots of time riding his bike. He has a quick temper and very easily kind of flies off the handle, but it is usually short lived and then you can get him to do what needs to be done.
