I happened to be walking by the primary room today while they were singing happy birthday to Joshua so I stopped to listen. After they sang the primary leader was telling things about Josh (the primary teacher must have asked him these questions, because they didn't get his information from me.)

Then, tonight at dinner, we were discussing what meat come from animals. We explained that chicken was in fact a chicken that was killed and cooked. Josh said, "So when you kill a chicken it turns into chicken?" We then explained that hamburger was from cows and that bacon was from pigs. Emily then pointed the the bowl of olives on the table and said, "Olives come from pigs too."
