We have been so busy around here that we didn't get around to celebrating Emily's birthday till last night, Tuesday, even though her birthday was on Sunday. It was low key and simple as I was just not up to doing a big party. She had her good friend, Kaylee, come over for sleep over. She picked her favorite food for dinner and we had cake and ice cream. Emily and Kaylee decorated the cake. She got a new, bigger bike for her birthday that she seems to love.
It's hard to believe she is 9. She will be going into 4th grade! That sounds much older than 3rd grade! She is usually a real big help to me with the little kids and around the house. She loves playing piano, playing with friends, swimming, etc. We're so grateful for our big girl and we love her so much!
