It's very hard to believe that I have an 8 year old! Emily's birthday was on Saturday. On Friday night we went to Chuck E. Cheese, that's kind of the stand by when it is not a "friend" party year. The kids always enjoy that. Then on Saturday evening we opened presents and had cake. Emily made the cake all by herself (with the help of my mom) and she was quite proud of herself. She got her first set of scriptures with her name engraved on them, some drawing pads, a new jump rope and swimsuit and a scripture case from my parents.
Emily will be baptised on Saturday, August 2nd and all my family will be here so that will be very special. Again, hard to believe she is so grown up!!
